Support us

Every session runs on donated resources, a shared love of music, and people saying yes.

We keep pop-ups free and open to everyone, which means the cost of running them doesn't fall on the people who turn up — it falls on getting the right support beforehand. Here's where that support could come from.

Chip in

Money and gear

Sponsor a local musician

Cover the cost of an instrument, lessons, or gear repair for someone who wants to go further than a pop-up but can't afford to on their own.

Fund the small stuff

Guitar strings, note pads, shakers, supplies that handed out and keep every session running.

Adopt a pop-up

Cover the running cost of one full session — fuel, a permit, a bit of signage — and we'll let you know how it went.

Donate an instrument

Got something gathering dust in a cupboard? A donated instrument can make it possible for another person in the community to have access to music.

We're still setting up formal payment options — for now, get in touch directly and we'll sort out the details together.

Give time or gear

Doesn't cost a thing.

Volunteer at a pop-up

Help set up, pack down, or just welcome people as they arrive. No musical experience needed.

Lend an instrument for the day

Don't want to give it away permanently? Lending it for a single session still puts it in someone's hands.

Offer a space

A driveway, a hall, a bit of quiet backyard — if you know a spot, we'd love to hear about it.

Spread the word

Tell a neighbour, share a post, put a flyer up somewhere. Most people find us because someone else told them.

Teach a skill

Know how to restring a guitar, tune a drum kit, or run sound? A short how-to session helps everyone after you too.

Something else in mind?

If it's not on this list, tell us anyway — most of what we run started as someone offering something we hadn't thought to ask for.
